Deputy Centre manager
Location: King's Academy, King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
I joined Kings Academy officially as Deputy Centre manager in June 2023, but I have been part of the project since 2022 working as Project Support in King’s Commercial Services.
To support the Centre manager on the day-to-day administration and operations of the Academy, and all aspects of Academy’s functionality, optimising efficiency and overall performance, ensuring the centre achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment. I conduct site visits, assist with enquiries and have been heavily involved in the setup of the Academy. I manage the events team and I am also responsible for our in-house LMS system ‘LEAP’ which is candidate booking system for the Academy. This involves making sure the day – to- day bookings, queries, system training & ensuring various stakeholders have uploaded their course content.
I like working closely with our clients in make sure they have a safe and comfortable space to provide teaching or conduct their events. But I also love working with different stakeholders within the trust as it has provided me vast knowledge and leadership skills. In this role I am also learning able all aspect of building management including Health and Safety.
Within King’s Commercial Services, my role was Project Support, where I was responsible for placing Fellowships within the Trust across various departments. Prior to this I worked for a SAAS start-up company as a sales executive and as an on-boarding specialist.
