Location: King's Academy, 1-5 Hinton Rd, London SE25 0HJ
I joined King’s Academy on 1 December 2025. After years of working across healthcare, recruitment, and project delivery, it felt like the natural next step.
As Deputy Centre Manager, I work across several areas at once. I develop business strategies to grow the academy, build partnerships with new organisations, and look for opportunities that increase occupancy. I also manage the Academy’s social media presence and lead on marketing to make sure we reach the right people. Alongside that, I bring a project management discipline to everything I do, keeping plans on track and stakeholders informed.
The pace and the purpose. I get to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. One day I am developing a partnership that could bring new learners into the academy, the next I am working on a campaign to raise our profile. The role lets me use a wide range of skills, and the results are visible. That keeps the work genuinely interesting.
I spent over a decade in healthcare recruitment, working across India, the USA, and the UK. I placed clinical and non-clinical staff, managed large workforce programmes, and led teams delivering recruitment for some of the biggest names in healthcare. That background gave me a strong understanding of what healthcare professionals, clients, and organisations actually need. It is a perspective I bring into my work at King’s Academy every day.
