(ONLINE) An Introduction to Occupational Therapy in Critical Care
About this event
Occupational Therapy plays a vital role in helping people of all ages overcome physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges to live as independently and meaningfully as possible. This introductory course provides a comprehensive overview of the profession, exploring how occupational therapists support individuals to participate in everyday activities that are important to their health, wellbeing, and quality of life. Participants will gain insight into the principles of occupational therapy, the assessment and rehabilitation process, and the diverse clinical settings in which occupational therapists work. Through real-world examples and practical applications, the course will demonstrate how occupational therapy contributes to patient-centred care and rehabilitation across healthcare and community environments.
The target audience for this course includes Occupational therapists, Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Practitioners and other Allied Healthcare Professionals.
