Spring is finally upon us at King’s Academy!
Spring has bloomed and many new courses will be starting with us!
As Spring has finally shown its colours in the UK, it is the perfect time to let you know what new courses will be taking place during this season at King’s Academy. We will have a range of new and returning courses to the Academy, designed to support professional development and enhance patient care.
We have three very exciting Kingston modules that are welcoming their new cohorts this May. These modules each represent key areas of clinical practice:
- Developing Knowledge and skills in practice and caring for patients with Haematological Malignancies – This module is designed for health professionals caring for patients with cancer and haematological disorders to further increase their theoretical and practical knowledge; recognising deterioration, from diagnoses to treatment and living beyond with the disease.
- Neonatal Special Care and High Dependency – This module has been designed to enable nurses working within neonatal units to provide safe, compassionate and effective care for neonates and their families within special care and high dependency areas.
- Patient Care for Liver Disorders: Evidence – Based Strategies – The content of this module will focus on primary hepatobiliary organ failure, the associated complications & basic management principles, & is particularly relevant for those who work in specialist areas.
It’s always incredibly rewarding to witness the enthusiasm, commitment, and learning that takes place within these cohorts, and we’re excited to welcome them back to the Academy.
In addition to the Kingston Modules, this May we will be hosting the RCN (Royal College of Nursing) Leadership programme for the first time with more days booked throughout the rest of the year. We have many leadership courses that utilise the academy space which highlights the importance of leadership development within the NHS. These programmes are designed to give healthcare professionals the confidence to lead positive and effective change within their teams.
We are looking forward to what Spring of 2025 has in store for King’s Academy!
