King’s Academy extends its gratitude and recognition to all nurses on the occasion of International Nurses’ Day!

On May 13 2024, King’s Academy proudly hosted its inaugural Nursing/Midwifery and AHP Celebration Day, coinciding with the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth on May 12. The event commenced with an opening address by Tracey Carter, Chief Nurse and Executive Director of Midwifery for the Trust, setting the tone for a day of appreciation and recognition.

The event was a testament to the dedication of nurses, featuring informative presentations by key figures from King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Awards were given to nurses who exemplified extraordinary commitment to patient care and teamwork.
