This national programme supports healthcare professionals to design, deliver, and apply simulation and immersive learning across education, training, and quality improvement.
Bringing together a multi-professional audience from NHS and higher education, it combines six expert-led eLearning modules with a face-to-face workshop to build practical, safe, and effective simulation capability, with a clear focus on patient safety, workforce development, and recognised professional development for appraisal and portfolios.

The iRescue face-to-face day features interactive workshops that focus on the human factors involved in deteriorating patient situations and the positive impact of applying effective human factor skills. Simulated deteriorating patient scenarios are used to integrate and practice the knowledge and skills acquired.
